If so, you are perhaps the person we are looking for to fill a new position as transport and logistics planner with Bredenoord in Vejle.

 

 

 

The position  

As transport and logistics planner you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of transport and logistics; and as such become a part of the competent team behind Bredenoord. On a day-to-day basis, you will report to the Fleet Management group in close cooperation with the departments of transport, customer-services and operations.

 

There will be a telephone duty roster based on a rotation system among the employees. Two staff members will report to you and, in addition, you will collaborate with the other branches within the company – in particular the German branch.

 

In your capacity as transport and logistics planner, you will be guaranteed a varied work day, as we pull together as a team – always focused on providing the optimal solution for the customer. This will require that you thrive in a hectic environment and, also, that you are self-motivated. 

 

The scope of responsibilities pertaining to the position:  

  • The development and performance of logistics duties targeted at our obtainment of sustainable growth, comprising compliance with our KPIs, budget performance and customer-satisfaction goals  
  • The facilitation of the local forecasting process and securing correct maintenance and optimization of warehouse levels for rental equipment  
  • Accurate planning and allocation of our rental fleet relative to outgoing equipment  
  • The management and purchase of additional transport capacities to ensure that the equipment will be delivered on time and in compliance with agreed standards – without any budget overruns  
  • Collaboration management in order to ensure that relevant stakeholders across the organization are informed about requirements  
  • The structuring of an internal network as well as participation in projects targeted at the achievement of results that will be in line with the goals set out for logistics under the EU supply chain.  

 

What we expect  

You probably have an education within logistics and you are interested in  mechanical as well as electrical matters. The position will require a hands-on approach: it should be no problem for you, to participate in the daily work on the floor if necessary – e.g. in connection with fork-lift operations and the unloading of trucks.

 

Preferably you come from a similar position and thus have first years' vocational experience as well as documented results. It is important that you thrive in a small company atmosphere where you help each other and pull together as a team.  

 

You are experienced as planner, you have a good feeling for employees (maybe you have already team management experience) and you are a problem solver. You should have experience in MS Office and in an ERP system. Since we work across Europe, you are expected to be proficient within the English and Danish languages – in speech as in writing.
