Summary

The Technical Sales Manager position will be responsible for the development of markets, projects and sales of machines to B-to-B customers in especially the food production and processing segments. The Technical Sales Manager reports to the Sales- and Marketing Director

Job description

Responsibilities and goals: 

The Technical Sales Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of a sales strategy regarding existing and potential customers in close corporation with colleagues and the rest of the sales force. The position is responsible for the development of sales accounts to achieve the Business Plan and budgeted targets.

Some important focus points are: 

Sales Development responsibility for the appointed markets
Identify market opportunities and customer segments focus 
Develop business opportunities together with the Limitech team
Make technical quotations and technical dialog/specifications with the client/customers
Travel - meet clients and make trials together with clients
Qualifications: 

Preferably educated within Food Technology or comparable qualifications within technical sales
Minimum of 3 years of experience with a commercial track record within sales in the food industry or similar
Team player, but high personal drive for growth and results 
Strong project management skills and high integrity 
Self-starting business professional with excellent communication skills 
Fluent in English and preferably another foreign language
Flexible and is willing to travel around 
Key Performance Indicators: 

Sales contribution from area of responsibility 
Development of high value add business in area of responsibility 
Ability to make strong sales presentations 
Impact of new sales and marketing initiatives in area of responsibility 
Ability to read market trends and focus on customers needs 
Develop strong relationships with customers
