Aker Solutions wins major contract in Malaysia
Aker Solutions has been awarded a contract by Murphy Sabah Oil for the delivery of a subsea production system for the Siakap North - Petai deepwater development.
Dave Hutchinson, president of Aker Solutions' subsea business in the Asia Pacific region says: "We have been working closely with Murphy for many years and are very pleased to be their selected subsea partner for this important contract. Malaysia's oil and gas industry is a key market for Aker Solutions, and we are well positioned in the Asia Pacific region with a strong manufacturing capacity and dedicated workforce. We look forward to working on the Siakap North - Petai development together with Murphy."
